TradeGecko: Updating the main navigation
Challenge:
The features that appeal to our PMF and make them sticky are getting lost in a myriad of links.
There are too many navigation levels presented. (#1-3 as highlighted in the image below)
As the design is progressively updated according to brand guidelines, the look of the dropdown appears disjointed from the rest of the site (#4 as highlighted in the image below)

Solution:
Increase user discoverability for our core features, highlighting them from the rest of the links.
Decrease the amount of navigation levels. (1st level navigation: prior to promotions, it was a permanent fixture that advertises a free trial).
Update and align the design of the top navigation to the rest of the brand on the website.
Success Metrics:
Increase in web traffic for Multichannel Sales, B2B, Automation, Payments, and Mobile page.

Outcome:
Traffic overall improved between 15-19% for all targeted pages, after a period of 7 days.
